Our journey, however, began long before our official establishment, tracing back to the pioneering efforts of our grandfather, a visionary who saw the potential of Ethiopia’s fertile lands.

Vision

Our aim is to become a reputable and dependable supplier of Ethiopian premium and specialty coffee sourced from our own coffee plantation and from coffee produced by our outgrowers.

Mission

To deliver premium-quality coffee to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and to establish reliable and sound business relationships with our customers internationally. Additionally, we aim to foster partnerships that will lead to the establishment of coffee roasting and instant coffee plants.

Objectives

Engage in the export of premium-quality coffee and capture the international market with our traceable specialty coffees.
Expand the current 150 hectares of coffee plantation to 317 hectares within three years and to 500 hectares within seven years.
Increase the number of washing stations from the existing three to six within the next five years.
Significantly increase our export volume to the international market.

Our Operations

Washing Stations

Our washing stations are located in Guji the fertile regions of Tobitu Uraga, Dogo Gerba And Banko Michicha Kercha. These stations play a crucial role in processing our high-quality coffee beans, ensuring that each batch meets our stringent standards.

Drying Stations

We have established 10 drying stations across Guji in Hambela, Uraga, and Kerecha. These stations are essential for the post-washing process, where coffee beans are meticulously dried to achieve the perfect moisture content.

Export Capacity

Oboleyan Coffee Export PLC is a significant player in the global coffee market, exporting 50 containers annually with a growing capacity. Our export portfolio includes:

– Grade 1 Specialty Coffee: 30 containers

– G2, G3 and Commercial Grades: 20 containers

– Total Shipped Annually: 1000 tons worldwide
